Now I'm the kind of Bl player who never really does endgame stuff just beating the story over and over again works for me perfectly. If I hand to put my finger on one problem it's the class system. I kinda cringe at myself for not enjoying this game even though it looked so promising. I've played bl2 and bl3 for more runs than I could count and also have a maxed bl1 character too. I am a huge fan of this franchise, hence the hype for wonderlands. I completed the story a few months after that just to justify buying this game. I preordered and played as soon as I got the chance, and for the first couple of hours it was great.Īfter a few sessions though, I didn't really feel the motivation to countinue. I was soooo excited for this game, it looked so fun, and also Andy Samberg in the cast? Sign me up. The headhunter DLC packs are good for a fast level each anytime after level 15 and there's 5 of those to plow through quickly. For me that's around level 14, I'll do DLC until I'm level 19 then continue on in the story till I'm about level 25 then do another DLC till I'm 29 and finish up. The other secret is to use the DLC to your advantage to take a break from the main story when things start tending to being lopsided level wise. That happens a few times in the campaign most noticeably about 3/4 of the way in where you'll be level 20 fighting level 20 mobs and then all of a sudden you'll turn in that story quest and go to the next part where everything is level 23 to 25! If they are two levels above you it's time to do side quests until you catch up. With the first set you'll be thinking the game is a cakewalk/too easy/where's the challenge? But on Krieg you'll be ready to throw your controller at your TV by the end of the game when you're so broke from corpse spamming that you can't afford ammo from Marcus anymore lol.īut yeah the secret to leveling anyone up from scratch in a smooth way is watch the levels of the enemies in any given area on the main quest. Very dependent on your character choice and build though, some have a much easier time some are infuriatingly hard to play before their skills come together in TVHM.įor instance do a normal untwinked playthrough on Lilith or Sal and then do one on Krieg or Axton lol. It gets hard solo towards the end push to the last boss for sure, on your first normal playthrough.
